20 Leaders in 20 Days – Virtual Shift

Some people in our community are struggling. Leading in business can be lonely, and with added COVID19 stresses and social distancing, there’s value in hearing from leaders facing and solving unprecedented challenges. We are working with CATA community members and partners to share insight and reassuring guidance for leading virtually through a crisis. You are invited to be a leading face of CATA’s 20LeadersIn20Days – Virtual Shift social media and podcast series. Each weekday, for 20 consecutive days, advice and inspiration for today’s challenges, and an outlook for the other side of COVID19 will be shared by technology leaders. The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance is leading a Rebound Commercialization Program proposal to the Feds to prevent the collapse of Canada’s tech sector, saving companies, talent, IP and high paying jobs that are both an economic strategic advantage to our nation, and a major attractor driving the immigration of world-class talent. The proposal focuses on 12,000 Canadian Majority owned companies who invest in Canadian R&D and have a demonstrated track record via the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax credit program. The efforts will position Canada’s tech sector to rebound and thrive in a competitive and opportunity rich post COVID19 era.
